Through research on the preparation and formation process of three open classes of chemistry, we find that the major internal factors affecting professional development of teachers in open classes are the self-awareness about professional development, the nature of motivation, the basis of experience and ability , the state of anxiety. In order to promote the professional development of teachers in the open classes, the open class should be correctly oriented, the characteristics of research should be emphasized, more young teachers should be provided opportunities to teach open classes, collective lesson preparation and personal lesson preparation should be combined, and the link between open class and ordinary class should be strengthened.
