2008年年初的冰灾使岳阳市的园林植物受到不同程度的冻害，本文通过对岳阳市园林植物冻害情况进行调查并分析，提出城市园林绿化中耐寒植物的选择，冻前与冻后应采取的措施。

Through the analysis on the investigation of the freeze-injured garden plant in Yueyang City in Jan.2008, how to choose garden plants in afforesting and countermeasures before and after the ice disaster were presentde. Among them the most important measures were plants-chosen and improvement of planting management.
