The system of a subject librarian concurrent posting an academic secretary will play an important role on the progress of the subject librarians themselves and the development of the library.This article has elucidated the feasibility of the system of a subject librarian concurrent posting an academic secretary from requirements of the position and work duties as an academic secretary and the personnel configuration of library. Furthermore, some corresponding strategies were put forward on the implementation of this system in the university libraries.
