翻译活动不是在真空中，而是在特定的社会意识形态氛围中进行的。无论是翻译的动机、拟译文本的选择，还是翻译策略或方式的确立，往往会受到译者所处时代的社会意识形态的制约和操控，从而使译文本表现出译语文化的印迹。但另一方面，文学翻译是一种有强烈日的性的社会实践活动，译者在明确的翻译动机驱使下，努力摆脱译入语社会主流意识形态的控制，并借助翻译传播异域文化思想观念，从而达到改良社会与政治，实现社会革命、丰富译入语文化的目的。因此，翻译活动既要受意识形态的制约与操控，同时又在生产着意识形态，两者之间存在着一种双向的互动关系。

Translation activity is carried out not in the vacuum but in a certain social ideological atmosphere. The choice of translation motive, the source text and translation strategy is not merely a personal decision of the translator. It is restricted and manipulated by ideology, thus the translated text leaves some traces of the target culture. However, litearary translation is a kind of social practice with strong motive which encourages the translator to get rid of the manipulation of ideoloy and transmit the advandced social ideology of the source culture so as to enrich the target cuhrue and even realize the social revolution. The paper draws the conclusion that there is a kind of interaction between ideology and literary translation.
