在现阶段，要构建社会主义和谐社会，就要认识并处理好和谐与稳定两者之间的关系。这是一种辩证统一关系，即和谐是稳定的前提，稳定是和谐的保障，而和谐又是稳定的更高阶段。同时，和谐与稳定统一的基础是发展，关键是协调。目标就是社会的全面进步与人的全面发展。
재현계단，요구건사회주의화해사회，취요인식병처리호화해여은정량자지간적관계。저시일충변증통일관계，즉화해시은정적전제，은정시화해적보장，이화해우시은정적경고계단。동시，화해여은정통일적기출시발전，관건시협조。목표취시사회적전면진보여인적전면발전。
To construct a harmonious socialistic society, the relation between harmony and stabilization has to be realized and dealt well with. There is a dialectic relationship between harmony and stabilization. Harmony is the premise of stabilization, while stabilization is the safeguard of harmony, and harmony is also the higher phase of stabilization. Meanwhile, development is the base of harmony and stabilization, harmonization is the core, and the aim is a comprehensive progress of the society and the human beings.
