缺乏垄断优势的我国企业为什么会对发达国家进行较大规模的直接投资？这种直接投资是否与获取国际科技资源有关？本文选取1990-2005年的统计数据，对我国企业对发达国家的逆向投资与自主创新能力之间的关系进行了实证研究，结果发现，我国企业对发达国家的逆向投资与自主创新能力之间不仅存在着稳定的正相关关系，而且存在因果关系，即我国企业对发达国家的投资能够促进自主创新能力的提高。实证结果表明，我国企业通过海外建厂、跨国并购、设立海外研发中心等方式对发达国家进行直接投资，可以获取国际科技资源，促进自主创新。

Why do Chinese enterprises short of monopolistic advantages make large-scale direct investment in developed countries？ Is this direct investment related to gaining international scientific and tecnnological resources？ Using the statistics data from 1990 to 2005, this paper carries out an empirical study on the relationship between reverse investment of Chinese enterprises in developed countries and independent innovation capability, and finds that there are both stable positive correlation and causal relation between reverse investment of Chinese enterprises in developed countries and independent innovation capability. The demonstration shows that through direct investment in developed countries by means of building plants abroad, transnational merger and acquisition, setting research ＆ development centers abroad, etc. , Chinese enterprises may gain international scientific and technological resources and facilitate independent innovation.
