21世纪社会发展与中国基础教育课程的实施,对教材改革提出了更高的要求。本文认为,一套好的维吾尔文教材至少应具备以下几个特点:一是把最有价值的知识选进教材;二是渗透思想文化的影响;三是能够促进受教育者的身心发展;四是体现更高的编制水平;五是有利于课程实施,使教授者觉得好用、学习者能够受用;六是具有维吾尔民族的特点。

Social development in the 21^at century and the implementation of elementary education curriculum in China have posed higher requirements for the reform of textbooks. The writer holds that in order to adapt to the needs of development and the challenges brought about by changes, a set of good textbooks of the Uygur language should have at least the following characteristics: 1 ) containing the most' valuable knowledge; 2) being instructive in ideology and culture; 3) being able to improve both physical and mental development of education receivers; 4 ) revealing higher level of compiling and editing; 5 ) enhancing curriculum implementation and benefiting both teachers and students; and 6) having characteristics of the Uygur nationality.
