公安宣传工作是党的宣传工作和公安工作的重要组成部分，在公安工作中发挥着重要的作用。在处置群体性事件中，公安宣传工作不仅能够通过对群体性事件信息的收集、分析和处理，做出最佳解决方案，而且能够通过有效的沟通与疏导，缓解矛盾，减少不必要的冲突。然而，在公安实践工作中，公安宣传工作在群体性事件处置中的作用还没有得到有效发挥。针对公安宣传工作在群体性事件处置中失效的情况及其原因，我们应采取积极的改进公安宣传工作的对策。

The propaganda of public security is an important part of the Party＇s propaganda work and public security work, and plays an important role in public security work. While dealing with mass disturbance, the propaganda of public security can not only make the best decision through collecting, analyzing and disposing of the information of mass disturbance, but also can relieve the contradiction and reduce unnecessary cortf/icts through effective communication and leading. However,in the practice of public security work,the importance of propaganda of public security in dealing with mass disturbance has not been brought into effective play. We should adopt positive countermeasures to improve the propaganda work of public security based on the failure and causes of propaganda of public security in dealing with mass disturbance.
