本文就大学英语翻译教学中存在的问题与对策谈了一些自己的看法。翻译教学方面的主要问题有：词汇差异造成的误译，中西文化不同造成的误译，中英句式不同造成的误译。改革要发挥教师与学生两方面的积极性；要在学好翻译理论的条件下，重视翻译技巧和翻译实践的关系，转变翻译教学观念；在语言、文化、语法、词汇等多方面的活动中，促进学生翻译能力的提高。

This paper intends to discuss the problems in the translation teaching in college English and makes suggestions for the improvement of it. The major problems of translation teaching are： the mistranslation caused by vocabulary difference, by the difference between Chinese and Western cultures and the difference of sentence structures between Chinese and English as well. Both teachers and students should play an important role in the reform in which the relation between translation skills and translation practice must not be neglected and translation teaching concepts should be changed under the condition of grasping translation theory well. In the language, culture, grammar, vocabulary, and many other activities, translation capabilities of students can be improved.
