Hattori Unokichi was a Japanese educationalist of great fame in modern times, and one of the founders of the Japan's Neo-Confucianism School. From the year 1902 to 1909, he worked with the Normal College, Imperial University of Peking, as a member of the faculty with the title called "Zheng Jiao Xi (professor)", and he made great contribution to the latter. Furthermore, he established the female educaiton college within the Imperial University of Peiking, along with other beneficial deeds and merits to the education of China. However, as he was both a Japanese official and a scholar, he always claimed his approval for the invasion of China, which could not be denied from his thought and ideology.
