The planning of land consolidation and arrangement is a systematical social project concerning land relation and land use structure and involving social and economic departments. This paper discusses the method and technology of pie-chart and table production in MAPGIS sot~ware with the production of planning maps of land consolidation and arrangement of Beichuan County as an example, proving that MAPGIS software could produce efficient and beautiful planning maps and providing reference of method for the planning of land consolidation and arrangement and similar planning maps and choice of software.
