为促进高等教育的健康发展，国家建立了5年一轮的普通高校本科教学水平评估制度。图书资料在评估中占有非常重要的地位，必须在思想上充分认识评估的重要性，认真研究评估体系中有关图书馆的要求，从服务理念、文献资源建设、服务内容和方式、馆员培训入手，抓住评估机遇，实现图书馆的跨越式发展。

To promote the healthy development of the institutions of higher education, the state established the teaching evaluation system that is operated every five years. In assessing, the library occupies a very important position. We must fully understand the importance of the assessment. We should study carefully the library system requirements, from the concept of services, construction of literature resources, services and means, and staff training, to seize the opportunity of the assessment and achieve the fast-step development of the library.
