文章分别从不同的角度讨论了意境的概念及意境的创造过程。意境的创造需要有真景物、真情感，从而到达“象外之象”“言有尽意无穷”的效果，最后在读者的阅读、接受和想象中完成整个意境的创造。关于意象，比较赞成“意象是融入主观情意的客观物象，或是借助客观物象表现出来的主观情意”的定义。通过比较认为，意境的外延大于意象。意象是一个小单位，一首诗歌里的意象都是为了塑造同一个意境。

It separately discusses the definition of artistic conception and its creative process from different perspectives. Creating the artistic conception needs real scenery and true feelings, to achieve the effect of ＂Image outside the image＂＂a statement that limited words supplies endless meaning ＂, and finally is completed during the reader＇ s reading, accepting and imaging. As for the definition of image, it is mostly accepted as the objective substance implicating subjective feelings or the subjective feelings manifested by the objective substance. It is deemed by comparing that the extension of artistic conception is larger than image. Image is a small unit and different images in a poem are all used to create the same artistic conception.
