《刘永福历史草》关于刘永福从越南归国记载存在一些问题。刘永福上“六事禀”的时间明显有误，非屡催之后，而是张之洞派委员初传停战旨意时；刘永福早在初知停战时就有回国的想法，而非屡催之后；“六事禀”主要反映了刘永福对归国后地位的担心，他之所以迟迟不归，主要是等待清方的答复。

The Brief History Facts About Liu Yong -fu is mainly about some problems in the record of the returning of Liu Yong - fu from Vietnam to the mother land.
