The conception of Headquarter Economics became more and more popular around China. This paper aimed to explore a new way to promote local economy, based on the conception. In the paper, the economy of Nanning City in future is supposed to focus on the position of Headquarter Economics, by both the illustration of the conception within applications in China and a survey to corporations in Nanning City. Nanning City will not play an important roll in Regional Headquarter and Functional Headquarter of corporations until a reform of vision, right strategy and realistic target.
