“新闻”一词，源出中国。古代“新闻”二字的搭配最早出现在南朝《弘明集》中。“新闻”在北宋中期已经凝固为一个复合名词。现代汉语中“新闻”的词义，是古代“新闻”一词的基本义和引申义。“新闻”并非“回归词”。
“新聞”一詞，源齣中國。古代“新聞”二字的搭配最早齣現在南朝《弘明集》中。“新聞”在北宋中期已經凝固為一箇複閤名詞。現代漢語中“新聞”的詞義，是古代“新聞”一詞的基本義和引申義。“新聞”併非“迴歸詞”。
“신문”일사，원출중국。고대“신문”이자적탑배최조출현재남조《홍명집》중。“신문”재북송중기이경응고위일개복합명사。현대한어중“신문”적사의，시고대“신문”일사적기본의화인신의。“신문”병비“회귀사”。
The term Xin Wen originated from ancient China. The first collocation of the Chinese character Xin and Wen is in The Anthology of Hong Ming in Nan Dynasty and the term Xin Wen has become a compound noun in the middle of North Song Dynasty. The meaning of Xin Wen in modern Chinese has the basic meaning of the antique Xin Wen while further extends it. Xin Wen is not a word return home from other languages.
