明清时期，宗族势力得到了空前的发展，与此相联系的宗族保障也得到了空前的加强。宗族保障有其深厚的社会基础，包括经济上族产的支持以及制度上家法族规的约束，使族众能够得到一定的保障。以家庭、家族为核心的传统保障方式对我国当代的社会保障制度建设具有借鉴和启示意义。

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the clan power experienced a rapid development than ever before, With this development,the clan security was also strengthened. The clan security has its social foundations,as the property of the clan as economic support and the family and clan regulations as institutional constraint mechanism. This provided a security to the people in the clans. Chinese traditional security with family and clan as its core provides reference and enlightenment to the construction of social security system nowadays.
