Marx' idea of taking man as the core of society took much time to develop and improve. It developed from the idea of “man being the essence of man” ,through that of “labour being the essence of man” to that “the essence of man in its practicality,is the total of social relations” ,and finally to his scientific theory about the essence of man,namely,to interprete the essence of man from practice,which is a significant creation of Marx about the previous concepts about taking man as the core of society.
