会展业和会展经济在我国发展迅速，学术界对会展的关注程度也日渐升温。在对会展的内涵与外延、会展业的基本内涵进行分析的基础上，提出发展会展事业对提高城市竞争力的重要意义。以中国当前的地区经济发展现状和会展产业发展的内在规律为基础，从前瞻的视角提出一些政策建议，作为现阶段中国发展会展中心城市的战略思路。
會展業和會展經濟在我國髮展迅速，學術界對會展的關註程度也日漸升溫。在對會展的內涵與外延、會展業的基本內涵進行分析的基礎上，提齣髮展會展事業對提高城市競爭力的重要意義。以中國噹前的地區經濟髮展現狀和會展產業髮展的內在規律為基礎，從前瞻的視角提齣一些政策建議，作為現階段中國髮展會展中心城市的戰略思路。

The exhibition industry and exhibition economy rapidly develop in China and the academia increasingly pay attention to exhibition. Based on analysis of connotation and denotation of exhibition and basic connotation of exhibition industry, the paper puts forward that development of exhibition industry has great significance on improvement of urban competitiveness. On the basis of current regional economic development status in China and inherent law of exhibition development, the article brings forward suggestion from the perspective of foresight, which can be regarded as strategic thinking of developing exhibition center city now.
