随着知识经济时代的到来，作为高等教育的重要组成部分，通识教育实施的必要性和重要性在中国高等教育界已经达成共识。但我国通识教育的实施仍步履艰难，必须通过转变价值观念、完善课程体系及规范科学管理等方面的综合治理，促进通识教育的顺利发展。

With the arrival of knowledge -based economy era, the implementation of general education,an essential part of higher education, becomes important and imperative. Specialists in China＇s higher education circle have reached an agreement about this. However, we are still faced a lot of challenges and difficulties in implementing general education. The comprehensive administration, such as shifting the value, improving course system and standardizing scientific management, will contribute to the smooth development of general education.
