20多年来，国外旅游和平研究在争论中不断走向深入。新世纪以来，旅游和平研究已经将重点转向了对分裂国家旅游促进和平路径的探讨。旅游和平研究及其重点转向对我国旅游研究特别是如何充分发挥旅游在促进大陆与台湾的和平与统一进程，促进两岸友好关系的发展，进一步改善香港、澳门、西藏和新疆等地与中央政府的关系具有重要的借鉴意义与参考价值。
20다년래，국외여유화평연구재쟁론중불단주향심입。신세기이래，여유화평연구이경장중점전향료대분렬국가여유촉진화평로경적탐토。여유화평연구급기중점전향대아국여유연구특별시여하충분발휘여유재촉진대륙여태만적화평여통일진정，촉진량안우호관계적발전，진일보개선향항、오문、서장화신강등지여중앙정부적관계구유중요적차감의의여삼고개치。
In the past 20 years, overseas studies on peace through tourism have been deepening amid debate. In terms of the content, the debate of two different points of view has been shifted to the exposition to what extent tourism can promote peace. The studies have been focusing on the discussions about the ways how tourism can promote peace in divided countries since the new century. The shift of the major fields of the studies on peace through tourism can provide important references to China＇s tourism studies, such as how to promote peace and unification process between the mainland and Taiwan through the development of tourism, promote the development of friendly relations across the straits and further improve the relations between HongKong, Macao, Tibet and Xinjiang with the central government.
