小学科学课程实施8年后,对小学科学课程设置、课程性质、课程目标、课程评价进行了审视和思考。小学科学课程应恢复在一、二年级开设。小学科学课程的性质定位为培养学生科学素质的核心课程;小学科学的目标是使学生理解基本的科学概念,体验科学探究的基本过程和方法,培养科学态度,初步了解科学技术与社会的关系,初步形成对科学的认识。课程评价包括对教师教学的评估和学生学业的评测两个方面。

On the basis of 8-year practice of elementary science curriculum in China, the author makes a deep examination and thinking on the curriculum setup, the property, goal and evaluation of elementary science. The author believes that elementary science curriculum should be offered from grade 1 or 2. The property of elementary science curriculum is defined as a core curriculum to develop students' scientific literacy. The goal of elementary science curriculum is to help students understand some fundamental science concepts, to experience the process of science, to learn some basic scientific methods, to have scientific attitude, to understand the relationship among science, technology and soeiety, and to understand the nature of science. The evaluation of the curriculum includes both evaluation on the teaching of science and evaluation on the learning of science.
