鄱阳湖是江西人民的“母亲湖”,是中国最大的淡水湖,是世界生命湖泊网的重要成员。60年来,鄱阳湖的研究、开发、利用与保护取得巨大成就和重大进展,对此进行比较系统、全面的回顾和总结,并将其发展划分为五个阶段,即第一阶段：1949～1977年,缓慢发展阶段;第二阶段：1978～1992年,考察治理阶段;第三阶段：1993～2000年,生态恢复阶段;第四阶段：2001～2006年,深度开发阶段;第五阶段：从2007年开始,生态经济区建设阶段。对每一阶段的基本特征简要归纳和分析,这对于当前正在进行的鄱阳湖生态经济区建设具有一定的启发和参考价值。

Poyang Lake, the ＂mother lake＂ of the people in Jiangxi Province, is the biggest fresh water lake in China, and an important member in the life lake network of the world. In recent years, the whole province has been making efforts to build this very zone in the Lake, so that it will achievee good and quick development. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People＇ s Republic of China. Over the past 60 years, enormous achievements and progress have been made in Poyang Lake in terms of research, exploration, utilization and protection. This thesis reviewed all the development and divided it into 5 phases ： the first phase of slow development from 1949 to 1977, the second phase of investigation and administration from 1978 to 1992, the third phase of ecology restoration from 1993 to 2000, the fourth phase of deepened exploration from 2001 to 2006, and the fifth phase of ecological economic zone construction starting from 2007. The es- sential features of every phases were studied and analyzed. The thesis hopes to provide certain inspiration and reference to the development of ecological economic zone in Poyang Lake.
