云南藏区是近年维稳工作卓有成效的边疆民族地区。从其经验可以看出，边疆民族地区维稳工作是一项综合的系统工程：各级党委的正确领导是维护稳定的保障；区域经济发展和人民生活改善是维护稳定的物质条件；全面贯彻落实民族区域自治制度和党的民族政策是维护稳定的根本；大力培养政治坚定、作风优良的少数民族干部队伍是维护稳定的关键；不断加强基层组织建设和深入细致地开展群众工作是维护稳定的基础；积极引导藏传佛教与社会主义相适应是维护稳定的有效途径；不断加强和巩固爱国统一战线是维护稳定的法宝；坚持不懈地开展马克思主义民族观教育是维护稳定的力量之源；坚持综合治理是维护稳定的基本手段。

The Tibetan area in Yunnan Province has enjoyed its stability in recent years. Based on the field studies, the paper gives a summary of the experience in maintaining the social stability of the Tibetan area in Yunnan Province, which should he helpful to promote the national unity and stabilize the border and minority areas in China.
