为了培养大学生英语口语有效实用的交际能力,本研究以2个二年级大学英语教学班(实验班与对照班)学生为研究对象,运用CBI外语教学理念,尝试训练学生用英语做报告的技巧。研究结果显示,培养用英语做报告的技巧有助于提高学习者的英语口语水平,学习者也欢迎这种实用的英语口语训练。本研究同时证实,CBI外语教学理念及相应的教学方法不适用于初级水平的外语学习者。

In order to enhance college EFL learners' effective oral English competence,CBI is applied to college spoken English teaching by instructing the learners' in presentation skills. The present study recruited two second-year college English classes (one experimental group and one control) in a one-school-year experimental teaching. The results indicated that presentation skill training is an effective means to improve EFL learners' spoken English proficiency,and the learners welcome this practical spoken English training. This study confirmed that CBI in EFL teaching does not apply to lower intermediate learners.
