通过对我国城乡群众体育发展现状的典型调查，反映出现阶段城乡群众体育发展的不均衡性，揭示了城乡统筹是群众体育协调发展的现实必要性。依据构建和谐社会的需求，分别对我国群众体育城乡统筹的内涵理解、理论选择、发展原则进行了理论探讨，在此基础上，提出了城乡统筹的群众体育发展战略对策。
通過對我國城鄉群衆體育髮展現狀的典型調查，反映齣現階段城鄉群衆體育髮展的不均衡性，揭示瞭城鄉統籌是群衆體育協調髮展的現實必要性。依據構建和諧社會的需求，分彆對我國群衆體育城鄉統籌的內涵理解、理論選擇、髮展原則進行瞭理論探討，在此基礎上，提齣瞭城鄉統籌的群衆體育髮展戰略對策。

Based on a typical survey on mass sports development in China, this paper revealed that the mass sports development between urban and rural areas was unbalanced and a balanced development was a realistic necessity for the harmonious mass sports development. In order to meet the demand of constructing a harmonious society, the inherent meaning, theory selection and development principles of balancing urban and rural mass sports development was discussed. Finally, it proposed strategies for the balanced urban and rural mass sports development.
