邓小平将马克思主义的精髓与“活的灵魂”深入贯彻到新的理论和新的实践，在当代视域中实现了对马克思主义的“总体性”创新，从而在新的起点上实现了对马克思主义精髓的继承、发展和螺旋式复归。邓小平的实践历程，展现了他独特的政治风范和精神气质，其创新性理论必将在马克思主义思想史上和非马克思主义的世界思想史上留下“普世”的价值和意义。
鄧小平將馬剋思主義的精髓與“活的靈魂”深入貫徹到新的理論和新的實踐，在噹代視域中實現瞭對馬剋思主義的“總體性”創新，從而在新的起點上實現瞭對馬剋思主義精髓的繼承、髮展和螺鏇式複歸。鄧小平的實踐歷程，展現瞭他獨特的政治風範和精神氣質，其創新性理論必將在馬剋思主義思想史上和非馬剋思主義的世界思想史上留下“普世”的價值和意義。

Deng Xiaoping,by attaching the marrow of Marxism and its ＂living soul＂ to both his new theory and his new practice, accomplished the overall innovation of Marxism in our time, thus realizing the inheritance, development and rejuvenation, in a spiral way, of Marxism at a new starting point. Deng Xiaoping＇s experiences demonstrated his unique political manner and spiritual makings, and his innovative theory will surely be of great value and significance to ideological history, either of Marxism or of non-Marxism.
