优秀游泳运动员的过早退役使得我国游泳训练缺乏高水平训练方法经验的积累，继而影响竞技游泳整体发展水平。通过采用文献资料法等对现阶段国内外优秀游泳运动员的运动寿命进行对比分析发现，我国优秀游泳运动员运动寿命比国外优秀游泳运动员短6．3年，竞技保持阶段较短。通过因子分析，将现阶段影响我国优秀游泳运动员运动寿命的20个主要因素归纳成5个因子，并提出相应对策。

Talent swimmers retire at an early age, which results in a lack of experience in high -level training methods for Chinese swimming cause. Literature review is applied in this article to make a comparative analysis on the present career span between domestic and foreign talent swimmers. It is concluded that the career span of the former is 6.3 years shorter than that of the latter and the former maintains comparatively short - lived competition edge. Through factor analysis, this article classifies into five factors 20 major elements presently affecting the career span of Chinese swimmers. Meanwhile, corresponding countermeasures are given to enlarge the career span of Chinese talent swimmers.
