This research paper investigates and discusses a few critical periods in the professional development of 111 master teachers and 160 ordinary teachers. It distinguishes four periods in which two dissimilar kinds of professional development （that of the master teachers and of the ordinary teachers） undergo; it discusses the speediest stage, the fondness stage, the detestation stage, and, finally, the stage of well deserved honors. It then reaches relevant conclusions.
