This article makes new interpretation of the problem of land - losing farmers from the perspective of urbani- zation, and points out that the nature of the problem lies in the imbalance between the absorptive capacity of cities and the re- lease of rural labor force. On this basis, a detailed analysis of the problem of land - losing is made to reveal deep - rooted cau- ses, and finally basic strategies to solve the problem of land - losing farmers are put forward.
