西方“纯诗”论的终极追寻是诗的文体特质。召唤与确立“诗性”,是其最为根本的美学原则。中国新诗的现代化,自20世纪二十年代开始,摸索出的是一条艰难的“纯诗”之路。但中国新诗接受西方“纯诗”论的影响,并没有全然沿着象征主义的路径展开。而是根据新诗特有的艺术实践,立足于诗性还原这个基本向度,亦即让诗回归诗本身,让新诗成为中国诗,在将“纯诗”论纳入中国诗学范畴的同时,也使西方“纯诗”论逐渐中国化。

The ultimate goal of Western "pure poetry" theory is the stylistic characteristics of poetry, and its fundamental aesthetical principle lies in looking for and establishing poeticity. The modernization of new Chinese poetry began in the 1920s and has gone through a difficult time towards "pure poetry". However, While Chinese new poetry was influenced by Western "pure poetry", it did not take the route of symbolism. Instead, Chinese new poetry has based itself on the essence of poetry, that is, poeticity, presenting an unmistakable Chinese character. At the same time, Western pure poetry is localizd in the Chinese context.
