通过对中国高尔夫运动的发展变化与美国国家高尔夫基金会公布数据的比较发现：国际金融危机导致美国高尔夫运动整体下滑，而中国高尔夫球场和高尔夫球员数量反而高速增长，高尔夫球场经营出现了两极分化趋势。高尔夫运动发展阶段、球场开发模式以及高尔夫产业政策的不同是中美高尔夫运动受金融危机影响差异的主要原因：

By comparing changes in the development of golf in China and data publicized by the National Golf Foundation in the United States before and after the financial crisis, the author revealed the following findings： the international financial crisis caused the overall downturn of golf in the United States, while the number of golf courts and golf players in China increased rapidly on the contrary; a sign of polarization has shown in golf court management. Golf development stages, court development modes and differences in policies for the golf industry are main causes for the differences in the effects of the financial crisis on golf in China and the United States.
