外来物种入侵被认为是生态多样性受到严重威胁的主要原因之一．外来物种火炬树具有许多优良的生物学特性，但又具有许多入侵物种的特性，如适应能力极强，耐瘠薄、耐干旱、耐盐碱、抗严寒以及极强的侵占力、繁殖力和极广阔的生态位等．火炬树的快速繁殖，有可能造成高风险入侵，会危害农田、公路及排挤本地物种，影响本地生态系统．因此，要慎重引种火炬树，不宜大面积应用；要合理安排应用空间，并适时采取有效措施，防止其扩散、蔓延．

Invasive alien species were considered the main factor of serious threat to the ecological diversity. Rhus typhina which was alien species has many excellent biological characteristics, but has many characteristics of invasive species, such as the strong ability to adapt to infertile soil, drought, salinity, coldness and has a strong occupation force, fecundity, and a very broad ecological niche and so on. Rapid propagation of the Rhus typhina was likely to result in high-risk invasion, endangering farmland, roads and crowding out native species, affecting the local ecological system. First of all, we must be cautious in introducing Rhus typhina, not to apply in large scale, arrange the use of space reasonably, and be ready to take effective measures to prevent their further spread.
