20世纪初，鲁迅、胡适作为思想启蒙者，大力提倡“个性自由”与“个性解放”，尤其是对处于社会最底层的中国女性给予了极大的同情。他们对封建传统伦理道德进行的抨击，对贞节观的批判，对两性关系的解读及对婚姻观的看法等，为中国女性的发展指明了出路。可以说，他们的女性观为唤醒中国女性思想觉醒做出了很大的贡献。
20세기초，로신、호괄작위사상계몽자，대력제창“개성자유”여“개성해방”，우기시대처우사회최저층적중국녀성급여료겁대적동정。타문대봉건전통윤리도덕진행적평격，대정절관적비판，대량성관계적해독급대혼인관적간법등，위중국녀성적발전지명료출로。가이설，타문적녀성관위환성중국녀성사상각성주출료흔대적공헌。
In the early 20th century, Luxun and Hushi virgorously advocated ＂personality liberty＂ and ＂personality liberalization＂ and they showed great sympathy for women who were on the bottom rung of the social ladder. Their criticism of traditional feudal ethics and virginity, their interpreting of the relationship between sexes and their outlook on marriage pointed out the way out for the Chinese women. Their outlook on femininity made great contribution to to awakening women＇ s ideology.
