Deal in the economically and culturally backward areas always encounters many difficulties. Shanxi merchants successfully solved the following problems: how to reach a satisfactory agreement both buyers and sellers in the case of a lack of hard currency; how to transport cattle, sheep and other live assets successfully transported to the Mainland under the conditions of backward communications and transportation, and a very low coefficient of social security ; how to adapt to the Mongolian herdsmen's mobile life to carry out mobile trading; how to carry out credit under the circumstances of herders' low living level in Inner Mongolia and low credit, and made Inner Mongolia region become their own consolidated strategic rear area.
