晚清时期，桂东南地区频发的自然灾害不仅给民众的生命财产造成了严重破坏，而且对民间信仰风俗产生深刻影响。民众对自然灾害的发生和破坏感到困惑或无能为力，又无法作出科学的解释，加上受传统观念的影响，只能寄托于神灵以应对，祈求消灾赐福。因此，民间的岁时节令习俗无不渗透着广大民众对自然灾害的禳除和对人寿年丰的祈求。
晚清時期，桂東南地區頻髮的自然災害不僅給民衆的生命財產造成瞭嚴重破壞，而且對民間信仰風俗產生深刻影響。民衆對自然災害的髮生和破壞感到睏惑或無能為力，又無法作齣科學的解釋，加上受傳統觀唸的影響，隻能寄託于神靈以應對，祈求消災賜福。因此，民間的歲時節令習俗無不滲透著廣大民衆對自然災害的禳除和對人壽年豐的祈求。
만청시기，계동남지구빈발적자연재해불부급민음적생명재산조성료엄중파배，이차대민간신앙풍속산생심각영향。민음대자연재해적발생화파배감도곤혹혹무능위력，우무법작출과학적해석，가상수전통관념적영향，지능기탁우신령이응대，기구소재사복。인차，민간적세시절령습속무불삼투착엄대민음대자연재해적양제화대인수년봉적기구。
In the late Qing Dynasty, the frequently happening of natural disasters in southeastern Guangxi had a great impact. It not only caused great damages to people＇ s life and property, but also had an enormous influence on the popular beliefs and customs. People with traditional ideas felt helpless to the happening of the natural disasters and the damages caused by it, they were also unable to make scientific explanation. As a result, they had to turn to gods for blessing. At the same time, the customs of the solar terms are offered for exorcizing natural disasters , for longevity and a bumper crop.
