国际食品法典委员会（CAC）是制定国际食品法典最重要的国际组织，中国自从1986年参与CAC的工作以来，在食品安全标准的完善及与国际接轨方面取得了很大成就。在《食品安全法》颁行过程中，应从食品安全标准体系和框架、标准的范围和具体内容以及标准的制修订机关和程序等方面，借鉴CAC的经验。同时，在完善食品安全标准体系时要把握几个核心原则，即以我为主、为我所用的原则，科学性、民主性和现实性相结合原则以及实现食品安全法律、法规和标准相协调原则。
국제식품법전위원회（CAC）시제정국제식품법전최중요적국제조직，중국자종1986년삼여CAC적공작이래，재식품안전표준적완선급여국제접궤방면취득료흔대성취。재《식품안전법》반행과정중，응종식품안전표준체계화광가、표준적범위화구체내용이급표준적제수정궤관화정서등방면，차감CAC적경험。동시，재완선식품안전표준체계시요파악궤개핵심원칙，즉이아위주、위아소용적원칙，과학성、민주성화현실성상결합원칙이급실현식품안전법률、법규화표준상협조원칙。
The Codex Alimentarius Commission （CAC） is the most important international organization which drafts the international food codes. China has made great achievements in perfecting its food safety standard and taking the steps with international practices since it was involved in the CAC in 1986. In the course of enacting ＂Food Safety Law＂, we should learn from the experience of CAC on how to formulate the food safety standard system and framework, as well as other aspects such as the scope and specific content of food safety standard, the legislative bodies and the procedures to formulate and revise standards, etc. In the meantime, while we improve food safety standards, we should grasp a few core principles： principle of taking the initiative for our own use, principle of combining with scientific, democratic and realistic ways, and principle of harmonizing food safety laws, regulations and standards.
