TongShi education; course; teaching of Chinese literature.
文章提出理工类大学通识课程设置必要性观点,尤其强调中文课程在通识教育中的核心地位。指出:通识课程门类多样,为学生兴趣发展、就业方向、素质培养提供了保障。素质教育不仅表现在知识层面,还表现在对传统文化精义、文明成果的继承发扬上,学习就是思想改造的过程,通识教育在精神品质上帮助学生完善人格、磨炼意志、建设好精神家园,树立正确的人生观、世界观、价值观;培养学生的学习研究能力,自我更新、不断提高发展的能力,学用结合的能力,把握自然和社会发展规律、推动社会前进的能力。各门类课程既发挥着不同的作用又能在思维创新、知识结构、能力培养、精神塑造等方面激发培育学生,融会贯通、相辅相成。

This article advocates that the setup of TongShi courses at technical university is very necessary,and especially emphasizes the core of Chinese literature course in TongShi courses.TongShi education means providing and asking student to master courses on both nature and society science.It is useful for students to develop different interests,to culture their quality.Through TongShi education training,students can not only acquire knowledge,but also inherit the spirit of Chinese tradition culture.It is also a process of mind reforming for students,during which students can setup correct philosophy,world point of view or outlook,and sense of worth.It is also helpful for students to culture the ability of study and research by themselves,the ability of self-improve,and the ability of mastering the principles of society and using them to reform society.Every course has its character and strength,but they will supplement each other work together,and make each other to be well digested completely understood.They work together to help students to own composite knowledge structure,and to improve their quality.
