在两岸关系中，沟通、对话和协商，可以增进彼此的包容和理解，化解两岸的分歧和冲突，形成两岸的合作共识，促进两岸的和平发展。一国两制是港澳回归的宝贵经验。也是两岸和平发展的指导原则。构建两岸和平发展关系，就是要坚持“一个中国”的原则，通过两岸的民主协商，促进两岸之间政治上协商治理，经济上共同繁荣，文化上一多兼容，军事上相互信任，最终实现“一国两制”下的和平统

In the cross-strait relations, the form of communication, dialogue and deliberation, is help- ful to promote mutual tolerance and understanding, to resolve differences and conflicts, to form cross-strait consensus on cooperation and to promote the peaceful development of cross-strait relations. ＂one country , two systems＂ is a valuable experience in the return of Hong Kong and Macao, but also the guiding principle of peaceful development of cross-strait relations. The Building of the peaceful development of cross-strait relations is to uphold the ＂one China＂ principle, under the framework of competitive federalism, through de- liberative democracy to facilitate consultations between the two sides on political governance, economic prosperity, culture compatibility and military mutual trust. It＇ s goal is to realizie the peaceful reunification eventually under the ＂one country , two systems＂.
