本文将我国31个省、市、自治区划分为经济发达地区、中等发达地区和经济欠发达地区,利用1997-2006年省际面板数据,分析知识产权保护对人均GDP增长率的影响程度。我们发现,对于经济发达地区和中等发达地区,知识产权保护对人均GDP增长率的影响不显著。而对经济欠发达地区,在知识产权制度的初始发展阶段,知识产权保护对人均GDP增长率有促进作用;但是到了快速发展阶段,知识产权保护对经济增长又有阻碍作用。最后本文给出了相关政策建议。

In this paper,we divided 31 provinces of China into the developed,middle-developed and less developed areas,then analyzed the impacts of intellectual property protection on per capita GDP growth rate by using the panel data of different provinces from 1997 to 2006.We found that,the intellectual property protection did not have a significant effect on the per capita GDP growth rate in developed and middle-developed areas.But in the less developed areas,at the early developing stage of intellectual property protection,it had a positive impact on GDP growth;while at the rapid developing stage,it had a negative impact.In the end,we gave some policy recommendations.
