乐府诗是中国文学与文化的一颗璀璨明珠，受到了许多中外译者的青睐。多位译者对一些乐府诗进行过翻译。不同译者都各有自己的翻译主张和原则。归化和异化成为不同译者在翻译乐府诗时所使用的主要翻译策略，但各有侧重，也有着各自的优点和不足。它们之间互相补充，共同承担着翻译作为文化交流的任务。其实，两种翻译策略各有其功能和特色。在归化策略中，意译重意胜于重形，替换要求功能对等，增益必须是补充性增译，简化必须遵循简约原则。在异化策略中，直译就要保留异国情调，音译虽然难懂，但给读者异域风采，直译加注释则是一种中庸的出路，既保留异域风采又增加文化背景知识。

Yuefu poetry is a brilliant pearl in Chinese literature and culture. It is getting more and more populor with Chinese and foreign translators. This paper studies different versions of Yuefu poetry translation and holds that domestication and for- eignization refer to the overall tendencies of Yuefu poetry translating. The two translation strategies emphasize particularly on different aims and have both excellence and shortage. With the complementation of the two strategies, the translation＇ s mis- sion of cultural communication will be completed. In fact, domestication and foreignization have different functions and fea- tures. In domestication, free translation emphasizes meanings over forms, substitution requires functional equivalence, ampli- fication must be complementary, and simplification must follow the principle of precise and concision. While in foreignization, literal translation must keep the foreignness, transliteration is difficult to understand but retains the cultural flavour, and annotation is a middle-of-the road retaining the foreign flavour as well as adding cultural background knowledge.
