Research on patent early-warning system has significant meaning for the maintenance of industry security. Based on the analysis of patent cases, this paper studies the theory of patent early-warning system, including its warning situation, warning index system and warning system framework and so on. The paper considers the exterior patent threat is the warning situation of patent early-warning system, in which impact factors can be divided from environmental-dimension, market-dimension and technical dimension. The warning index system includes 6 first-grade indicators and 22 secondary indicators.
