南国农先生不仅为我国教育技术(电化教育)学科体系的建立做出了巨大贡献,同时也为构建教育传播学的学科体系以及确立其在教育技术学中的理论基础地位做出了重要贡献。上世纪80年代中期,南老师就提出传播理论是电化教育的理论基础,明确教育传播学的研究对象是教育传播现象及其规律性,并对教育传播理论和传播要素的整体性做了进一步的阐释;80年代末至90年代初,南先生又进一步论述了教育传播学的体系问题,形成了教育传播的本体论、过程论、信息论、符号论、媒体论、主体论、环境论、效果论和方法论等“九论”框架;在信息时代,南先生积极鼓励教育技术工作者对教育传播学进行研究,并对教育传播学的研究未来充满期望。

Mr. NanGuonong not only has made great contributions to establish the system of Educational Technology (E-education) of China, but also made important contributions to build the academic system of educational communication theory and confirmed its theoretical basis position in educational technology. In the mid-eighties Mr. Nan proposed communicational theory is the basis of audio-visual education, clearly confirmed the research object of educational communication is the phenomenon and the objec tire law of it, and also made further explanation for educational communication theory and the integrity for the elements of it; In the late 80s and early 90s, Mr. Nan further discussed the issue of the system of educational communication theory, and finally formated the framework of "Nine Theory " of which included ontology, process theory, information theory, symbolism, media theory, the main body theory, environmental theory , methodology and consequentialism; In the information age, Mr. Nan encouraged educational technology workers to research Educational communication theory, and had great expectations forfuture.
