宗教的现代转换是一种世界性趋势,藏传佛教亦然。文章根据对西藏日喀则地区萨迦县萨迦寺、仁钦岗寺与周围社区互动关系的调查研究,认为藏传佛教信仰正在从传统向现代转换,藏区社会的现代化推动了藏传佛教的现代转换,藏传佛教积极与社会主义社会相适应,促进了藏传佛教的现代转换,主要表现在宗教行为功利化、宗教生活现代化、宗教观念淡化、宗教信仰理性化等方面。

whether the religious modernization is a global trend,on the vast area of Tibet,whether the Tibetan Buddhist belief is under such a modern transition？ This is a subject to which the academic scholars has paid much attentions.This article is based on the investigative research on Sagya County in the district of Shigatse in Tibet and the interactive relationship between Sagya and Renchengawy Monasteres in Sagya County,and the authors presuppose that Tibetan Buddhism belief is under the transition from tradition to modernization.From the perspective of religious notion,there is a positive correlation between the changes of believers’ notion of religion and that of identification of modern values;from the perspective of religious life,believers are receiving and using some modern tools and methods;from the perspective of formation of individual belief,there is a trend of rationalization and utilitarization;based on the synthesis of questionnaire analysis and interview records,we make a conclusion that the modernization of Tibetan Buddhism,the Tibetan Buddhilization of modern society in Tibetan area and the diversity of beliefs are the developing trends of the interactive relationship between monasteries and communities.
