唐王朝的恢弘气度不仅体现在政治、经济、文化昌盛等层面,也通过兴盛的旅游活动得以表征。在这个最富有创新精神的朝代,旅游迎来了新的高涨。唐代的旅游活动不再完全是政治、经济活动的附属物,旅游主体可以根据自己的需要、愿望支配旅游活动。唐代旅游活动类型丰富多彩,各阶层人士参与广泛,进而促进了旅游文化的发展。旅游文化构成了盛唐文化的组成部分。

In such an innovative era,tourism deserved its fast growth. The tourism could never be treated as an appendage of politics and economy,and people had rights to plan and dominate their journey at will. The types of tourism at that time were diverse in wide participation from all classes of society. It promoted tourism development and made tourism culture become a part of culture in the heyday of the Tang Dynasty.
