症候阅读是近些年译学界经常使用到的术语。本文就此术语展开讨论,揭示该术语从阿尔都塞到劳伦斯·韦努蒂的演变过程,并解读了韦努蒂以＂症候阅读＂法试图改变阅读译文的方式,认为韦努蒂有关英美翻译史的研究,自始至终是运用症候阅读的英美翻译史的研究。
癥候閱讀是近些年譯學界經常使用到的術語。本文就此術語展開討論,揭示該術語從阿爾都塞到勞倫斯·韋努蒂的縯變過程,併解讀瞭韋努蒂以＂癥候閱讀＂法試圖改變閱讀譯文的方式,認為韋努蒂有關英美翻譯史的研究,自始至終是運用癥候閱讀的英美翻譯史的研究。
증후열독시근사년역학계경상사용도적술어。본문취차술어전개토론,게시해술어종아이도새도로륜사·위노체적연변과정,병해독료위노체이＂증후열독＂법시도개변열독역문적방식,인위위노체유관영미번역사적연구,자시지종시운용증후열독적영미번역사적연구。
The present paper tries to explain and define a frequently employed term in translation studies,symptomatic reading.The paper reveals the progress of the term from Althusser to Lawrence Venuti,points out the original meaning of the term,namely it is a new way of reading translation ever since Venuti,who,with three examples,tries to change the way of reading translation.The present paper concludes that it is based on this new way of reading,symptomatic reading,that Venuti does his research on western history of translation.
