环境金融作为一门在世界范围内受到广泛关注的新兴学科,目前国内研究尚处于摸索阶段,存在的问题之一是对环境金融的内涵和外延界定不清。文章首先对环境金融的定义和功能进行了阐述,认为其本质是基于环境保护目的的创新性金融模式,再从环境金融的制度安排、投资主体、业务范围、主要产品和市场类型这五个方面展开了论述,梳理出环境金融的整个框架体系,最后为将来在该领域进一步研究提供指导建议。

As a new subject,Environmental Finance is being obtained attentions more and more in the world.Now because the research work is at the beginning stage in China,one of the mainly problems is that can not clearly distinguish the intensions and extensions of Environmental Finance.The article expounds it＇s definitions and functions,and points out that it＇s essence is a new innovative financial model based on environment protection;and built the framework systems of Environmental Finance through discussing at the five fields： institutional arrangements,main investors,business scopes,main products and market types;and nails down the research＇s areas.Author makes some advices about the needed knowledge structures of research in the future.
