“XX门”现象涉及到语言的各个层次，以及社会、心理等多种因素。在基于顺应论的综合框架下，“XX门”可以得到更充分的解释。“XX门”表现出很强的变异性、协商性和顺应性，其结构和语义具有语用理据和顺应性特征。“XX门”的产生、发展和运作是历时顺应的结果，扩展了语言的意义潜势。其广泛使用是共时顺应的表现，是交际者对语境和语言客体的动态顺应，可以在读者心中产生较高程度的意识程度，从而接近实现交际目的。

The ＂X-gate＂phenomenon comes down to various linguistic levels, and involves quite a few factors such as societal, cognitive ones. A fuller explanation can be approached under the comprehensive framework based on the Adaptation Theory. The ＂X-gate＂ exhibits strong variability, negotiability and adaptability. Its structure and meaning are pragmatically motivated and adaptative. Its birth, development and use result from the diachronic adaptation, which expands its meaning potential. Its wide use is the synchronic adaptation to the contextual correlates and structural objects. The adaptation is a dynamic process and produces a comparatively higher degree of salience, approaching the satisfaction of the communicative needs.
