中国传统的端午民俗节日，经过唐代的发扬光大而持续、保存下来。民俗风情有赖文学史籍等之记载，唐宋诗词中详细的龙舟竞渡书写，不仅清晰地呈现了竞渡比赛，增强了游艺娱乐的性质，更保存了传统的民俗仪式和内容，更使端午节日呈现出特殊的时代性内涵，让龙舟竞渡活动为高度繁荣富足的社会增添了诱人的色彩和情调。唐宋诗词中的竞渡书写不仅对后世文学有所影响，亦增添了极为宝贵的文学史料。

Traditional Dragon Boat Festival in China is preserved and carried forward since Tang Dynasty. Folk culture goes down with literary historical records. Tang and Song poems which record and present the dragon boat races in detail not only enhance their recreation and entertainment properties but also preserve the traditional folk ceremony and content. Thus, Dragon Boat Festival presents a special connotation of contemporary spirit, adding attractive color and flavor to the highly prosperous and abundant society. The Dragon Boat Festival recorded in Tang and Song poems not only has an impact on later literature but also adds to literature a history document of great value.
