In recent years,the appeal for Neo-Taoism from the academic circles and the popularity of Taoism both home and abroad demonstrated the modern values and world significance of Taoism.Summarizing the spiritual essence of Taoist aesthetics in artistic spirit is a great achievement of the Taoist aesthetic studies in the 20th century.As the core of the Taoist aesthetics,the Taoist artistic spirit has to some extent molded the look and pattern of modern Chinese aesthetics and modern and contemporary literature.It was spread to the West and to the world through the vision of comparative poetics incubated in the cultural exchanges between the East and the West.
